His Resurrection

"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures"
 - 1 Corinthians 15:3,4
We spend so much of our energy attempting to avoid the inevitable (death):
 - we move the old and infirm to places where they do not make us uncomfortable.
 - we spend huge sums of money to make us look and feel younger.
 - we elevate medical services above all other professions.
 - we invest in health food and exercise like never before in history.
 - we treat death as the ultimate evil.
 - we get excited about cryogenics and artificial life extension.

But it doesn't matter: the end will come for each of us anyway.

But what if it wasn't the end? What if we have good reason to believe that there can be life after this life? What if Jesus demonstrated this once and for all? What if Jesus wants to offer this new life to everyone?

There is only one catch: there is no path to resurrection apart from following Jesus in the path of self-sacrifice  (or see a more detailed explanation ).

"For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. (Romans 6:5,8)"

"God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power. (1 Cor 6:14)"
