How do we make sense...

...of the world that we live in? So much suffering; so much joy. So much beauty; so much ugliness. Our existence is a study in contrasts.

The recent technological explosion has made so much of life easier. But it all seems to correlate with increased incidence of physical 1  and mental illness 2 .
We might find the world more accommodating of our personal preferences. But the resulting experience is too often accompanied by alienation and purposelessness 3  -- while community and purpose are critical for human flourishing 4

In moments of clarity, we recognize the root of the problem -- and it is us 5 . We are broken. We need help. Is there any remedy? Some imagine there to be a style of government or an economic structure or an educational policy that could make all the difference. Unfortunately, every imaginable option has been tried... without success.

The sensible thing to do, of course, is to go back to the beginning: to look for beauty from the Source of Beauty; to look for love from the Source of Love; to look for truth from the Source of Truth; to look for purpose from the Source of Purpose.
"My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth."

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes."
